tranZformation Il

"tranZformation" was one of my first paintings. I had heard a voice whisper in my right ear that said "go buy plates and paint on them". So I did. I set up a room in my basement as a studio and began painting. When "tranZformation" appeared in one stroke, I was amazed at the configuration of color! I remember running into the family room to show Scott what I had just created.

At the time I was healing from memories of childhood abuse, and painting these colors was very healing for me. I was dealing with a lot of hatred and anger at the time, and painting the green colors connected to the heart chakra shifted me to a place of forgiveness and "tranZformation" to love--a much better emotional state within myself than where I was. As I have painted over the years, I've discovered that the healing vibrations of color are real and powerful. They truly shift us physiologically. Color matters.
