This was one of the first originals I painted with custom tools I had created. I love the bold clean stroke of orange on the deep red. I felt a very powerful energy surge through me when painting this stroke. In traditional Chinese philosophy, “chi” is the vital life force that flows through the body. When balanced, it can enhance mental and physical capacity and creativity, smooth out emotions, and help us enter higher states of consciousness. To me “chi” is bold, powerful, and strong. Like orange.
