I was asked to create images for a project on diversity and inclusivity. I pondered for weeks as to what to paint, and when I entered my studio, hearts began pouring out of me. I couldn't stop! LOVE is the universal language. It encompasses us all.

The original of "free-Spirited LOVE" was painted using taupe and silver metallic paints because of their gentleness and calming effect. I love this heart so much, I wanted to add some spice to it! So I shifted the color to hot pink in photoshop for this print. "free-Spirited LOVE" is me! I love how it makes me feel. To me it represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement, and stimulation.

Upon returning from the hospital for a Covid stay, the first night I had a dream of a jolt of a hot pink in sea salts--it literally made me feel vibrant and alive and lifted my spirits like no other. The healing vibrations of color at work! It was amazing.
