Jesus said, "I am the light that shineth in the darkness." His light has been that for me. And His love is unconditional. When I paint gold, I paint God...thus “Jesus LOVE”. I have a very dear connection with Him and am grateful every day for that. Years ago I received a beautiful blessing and these words have been my mantra for life. “For your own protection and guidance, be willing to take the Savior’s extended hand into yours to remain lovable friends and on speaking terms with each other. Keep your ears tuned to His superior wisdom, that your footsteps may lead you into eternal life.”

Has it been easy? No. Have I had my "moments" with Him in anger because of the darkness I have experienced in my life? Yes--many. But I find that He is always there for me and does not judge me--no matter what I say to Him--He loves me and blesses me. And knows me intimately. I have a very open, honest relationship with Him. We are all searching for peace in our lives. Jesus is my answer to peace. And for that, I am truly grateful. Because through my darkness I have found His light. And my own.
