Each day I am learning to "trust" myself and God more and more.  It's been a journey and a definite process.  For those of us who have experienced abuse or addiction, trust is not easy.  Following our gut.  Trusting our intuition.  Believing in ourselves.  And sometimes the reason we didn't get what we wanted was because God had something much better planned for us.  i.e. my art!  I had no idea it was coming--I just kept hearing His voice say "be patient."  Melodie Beattie says in The Language of Letting Go, "God, help me let go of fear, doubt and confusion--the enemies of self-trust.  Help me go forward in peace and confidence.  Help me grow in trust for myself and You, one day at a time, one experience at a time."  I poured violet into this painting--connected to the crown chakra--representing divine wisdom and purpose, enlightenment, understanding, universal consciousness and unity with the omnipresent being.
