Is the dad in your life a man of “Action!” or has he come “full circle”?
Is he full of “abundanZ” in every area of his life?
Is he as “cool blue” as the ocean or somewhat of a “myZtery”?
Is he “powerful”, full of “life!” and “clarity”, or “youthful”?
Is he the master of “mantraZ” and “manifeZtation”?
Or is he your “light at the end of the tunnel.”?
Does he contemplate his “inner self” then push himself to “outer LimitZ”?
Is he full of “tribal warmth” for his family?
Or is he the full “Zpectrum” of color “vibeZ”?
Is he a military man making “AMERICA STRONG” for the “home of the BRAVE”?
My father, Bruno Livio Gerzeli, was a full-blooded Italian, and a professional soccer player at the age of 16. He was an orphan at 10 and separated from his siblings. So what he missed out on as a child, he made sure his kids didn’t. Magical Christmases, great family trips, outings at the beach, making our home beautiful with fun amenities. He was full of life and a man of many talents. His passion for life and God was unstoppable and he was a gift to us and so many others--always there to help. He also suffered from PTSD from his childhood and the war. We really didn’t put names to mental illness in the 70’s. So we as a family navigated the best we could. He passed away before my memories of childhood abuse surfaced. But as I began my healing process, he often would whisper in my right ear leading me to the people I needed to assist me. I could always tell when he “showed up” next to me in my car to give me love and support along my journey. We’ve had many wonderful conversations since he passed in 1982. Happy Father’s Day dad! I love and miss you deeply.
