I was asked to create images for a project on diversity and inclusivity. I pondered for weeks as to what to paint, and when I entered my studio, hearts began pouring out of me. I couldn't stop! LOVE is the universal language. It encompasses us all.

"growing LOVE" is the original version of four print versions from the same painting. I was inspired to paint this heart on a satin soft green acrylic substrate. It just calms me--like the feel of fresh grass underfoot. And the vision of beautiful trees--especially palm trees!

Green is a symbol of rebirth. It’s the color of youth, prosperity, growth and progress. And physically, the color green has a relaxing, calming effect on our bodies which contributes to increased focus and balance.
