sunshine LOVE

I was asked to create images for a project on diversity and inclusivity. I pondered for weeks as to what to paint, and when I entered my studio, hearts began pouring out of me. I couldn't stop! LOVE is the universal language. It encompasses us all.

I add a bit of "sunshine LOVE" everywhere in my house with fresh flowers! Every time I pass by them and look at them--the vibrant yellow color just does something to my soul. Yellow is connected to the solar plexus chakra--and is believed to be related to personal power and self-esteem. Maybe this is why I love yellow so much--I have worked at being solid in my personal power throughout my healing from childhood abuse. It's a journey, and yellow has been an integral part of it.

In order to have a strong relationship with others, I've had to learn to have a strong relationship with myself first.  This self-acceptance is imperative for our physical health, especially for digestion, which is the source of nourishing ourselves.  I work on this daily.  One thing that has helped me is a Solar Plexus Sound Essence mist spray.  You can find it at soundessence.net.
